EXPERIENCE: THE IMPROVEMENT OF CONVERSION RATE FOR THE TOURISTIC WEBSITE

Background information

The following site is a web search engine which gives the information about tours and consists of a guidebook to different countries. A total amount of tours in WSE compounds of more than 80 millions. A website traffic is 35 thousand users a month.

The issue

Users just looked through the tour information and didn’t visit the page with a detailed description of tours for the further booking.

To improve the web usability and to attract the real customers.

Within a month the traffic has amounted to 65. According to the comparison of factual data of 6 months ago it has increased in 33.



The page “Last minute tour”

Within a month the traffic has amounted to 294. According to the comparison of factual data of 6 months ago it has been increased in 2,2.



Results

Three website pages have been changed. The result of our work is 1270 of “hits” with the original amount of 549 “hits”. Thus the traffic has been increased in 2,3.
